I am also shopping. Kentucky and Iowa want to charge me sales tax on the new unit which I will bring back to Illinois. Indiana and Texas don't. I haven't checked with other states, but this is nearly a thousand dollar savings, so I'll buy in a state that doesn't charge me tax. Not the dealer's fault, but that money will buy a lot of gas. Another advantage of a tc, which isn't licensed or registered in my state.
