- Need-A-VacationExplorerOn my '10-1500 4x4 I stepped up to a 275/6518 from the factory 265/65/18. Did not notice any change in driving with or without the trailer in tow (6500lbs, then our new to us ~7300lb trailer). Thing that was gone was the p rated tire "wiggle" due to sidewall flex.
I bought the Cooper A/T3's in LT C, and was very happy with them in all conditions. Never went kidding so can't comment on that though. Dry, wet, snow... a very good tire that I would buy again! - APTExplorerIf you tow with that truck, I recommend staying stock sized. What is your OEM size?
- Charlie_D_ExplorerDoesn't a change in tire size affect fuel mileage, odometer and speedometer accuracy?
- donn0128Explorer IIWhat is your P meteic size? They will be the size you need.
