What size Television fits 2013 Shadow Cruiser 28QBS?

Hi,

We purchased a 2013 Shadow Cruiser 28QBS and it is in storage (1.5hrs drive from home) and I need to get a Television for the TV swivel, but I lost the dimensions of the opening last. Anyone know what the size is or have this trailer easily accessable and could measure it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, not in a hurry, but would like to pick up a TV before our trip in March.

The size that can fit also depends on if you want a tv with a built in DVD player. If you get tv/dvd combo where the dvd inserts on the side, you have to get a much smaller tv than if the dvd inserts from the top. We know from personal experience the top loaders are better for this reason.

Thanks for the tip. We have a pivoting arm mount that will allow it to come out of the swivel box enough to insert a DVD, but that is assuming I can use it with the TV we end up with.

Cruiser RV shows on their website optional 32" LCD on the 28QBS. Call their customer service tomorrow at Phone: 260-562-3500 to verify...but all of their models of trailers from your model up to the bigger ones have this same sized LCD.

Note that the following brands per Consumer Reports survey are the most trouble free. Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Sharp, Sylvania, Insignia, LG, Vizio.

Looking at the pictures the swivel box looks larger than in my unit, so I think they have changed it since my trailer was made. I would prefer to put a 32" in, but it would not swivel then. Thanks for the info.
  • Just noticed the locations for the posters, all places we are looking at visiting on our 6 month tour!

I assume this is a 280 QBS. If so it has the same swivel as ours, that takes a 24 inch.

yes it is the 28 or 280 QBS, I though it was around 24" but was not certain. I know you can go larger if you don't want to swivel it, but I think I want to be able to.

Thank you everyone for the replies!

With reference to the Purchase in the US, I was considering that as an option, but I have been keeping an eye on the sales for a good deal, but wanted to make sure I had the correct size.

We've got a 280 QBS in storage (selling due to upgrade).
When I get over to it (it's very close by) next time I'll measure it and post up the dimensions.

Feel free to PM me if I forget and you still need it ;)
  • If it is a 32" Just a bit of info.....we were in the US shopping not long ago and bought a 32" LED Samsung Smart tv for just over 300 incl tax at Walmart. We then bought a keyboard to use with it for 30
