What places do you find youself going back to more often cause it's so very great a place?

I'm starting to look for new travels lately.

Hoping this will not get moved to another forum as TCrs go better places. That's for sure.

I don't think there is any where that is exclusive to a TC. Also, there are small ones that are barely there and triple slide huge ones with giant trucks.

I like a TC because there is more availability to camp with a smaller RV than a large one. If you are looking for places to go, broaden your search to almost anywhere that suits you other than a RV park that caters to large rigs only.

Yes pavement parking and campgrounds like a squeezed in subdivision is not my idea of going places. I go on roads least traveled for the most part but don't want to avoid great natural wonders either.

I've been rather surprised by the amount of beautiful and relatively unused resources for camping along lonely roads.

Not to mention the small town places to stop and eat. Such out of the way locations that they rely mostly on the locals business. Most are great food and friendly atmosphere.

I have a buddy with a big diesel pusher. Wants to camp with me, see and experience some of what I have told him about, but he has so much gadgetry on that motorhome that it seems things always causing problems and therefore cannot get away from civilization/ repair facilities.

Appreciate all the tremendous response. It's really helping. You are all so very nice.
I think that Moraine Lake in B.C. has to be the most beautiful lake in the world. If you haven't you better get it on your places to see.

You said no deserts, but NOW is the time to see the south west deserts. and they are spectacular if you look. I love the areas around Red Rock Cyn State park, In California, and if you go a few miles east, it's FREE! Also Anza Borrego, and the Joshua Tree National park are perfect, as are the deserts around southern Arizona, and new Mexico. The north rim of the Grand Canyon, and the petrified forest are really nice. and the entire Colorado River drainage is superb!
Too many palces, and not enough money or time is the constraint!

We live 30 minutes south of Portland, OR. We love Oregon. We are certainly blest to be able to go to the coast or central Oregon any weekend.

For longer trips, we LOVE Utah. We also hit Montana (Glacier and family reunion) twice this summer. Spent some time in WA and ID too.

Wow all the posts so far are good, been to them all we particularly like the black hills, Custer SP, Beartooth pass is magnificent been there twice, Utah is spectacular also got to go back may be next year. Canadian rockies been there probably 10 or more times, Yellowstone 4 or 5 times, I guess I just love everywhere, we are driving camper site seeing tourists, also love the no interstates as we drive strict 55 for fuel mileage. We usually just get the map out, look for those dotted roads on the map and go drive them. My personal favorites are west, also been east all over but west has my heart.

Oregon has some wonderful places too! The coastal range, the south/western for the mountains, Redwoods, rivers....Central Oregon for high desert, hiking, trails, lakes, Eastern for plains, history, lakes, rivers...epic fishing, hunting all over!

Stanley Basin, Idaho, and the Sawtooths. Salmon River Valley and the Lemhi Valley. Canyonlands N.P.in Utah -- Island in the Sky section is breathtaking. On the east coast try the 450 mile long Blue Ridge Parkway, brilliant this time of year. Speed limit 45 mph and campgrounds everywhere along the way.

Those are just a few of my favorites.

I'm putting together a list of travels to do. Love the places that are beautiful in the fall as my camping season starts after schools get back in.

I've been to the Canadian Rockies 12 times. Im thinking Whistler and the Coast Range Mtns in western B.C. and the Black Hills with the many scenic routes there. Been many years since Alaska so that's on the list too. Thinking Mtn back roads of Colorado in such a way as to mosey every mtn road there is there.

Thank you so much everyone.... I'm the guy that has to have trees, mtns and no interstates if I can.

We go to Yellowstone every season of the year, but not everyone is that lucky.
