what tire pressure?

I just had new tires put on my truck and now I am trying to figure out what pressure I should be running, here is the info. My truck is a 2004 F150 FX4 supercab, 6.5' box, the truck came stock with 275/65/18 which were load range C with a rating of 25XX lbs at 50 psi. After I put a small lift in I ran Nitto Terra Grappler 325/60/18 load range D rated at 3000 lbs at 50 psi, I ran them at 50 psi rear 45 psi front and they wore really good. I am now running Cooper STT 325/60/18 load range E rated at 3525 at 65 psi.

I was thinking about running them at 50 psi, maybe +/- 5 psi, since I don't need the full weight capacity of them. What do you think?
  • Load the truck for a normal trip and weigh it. Then use those axle weights and see what Cooper says for those tires and axle weights.
I run my E load range Toyo A/t's at 50 psi fwiw.
  • I would lower the pressure to 45. The rating at the pressure is 27xx per tire.
  • I don't run as big a tire but tey are E rated tires on my F150 and run 40psi empty and50psi front and 65psi back when pulling rides nice at these essures but gets rough if I go higher when pulling.
  • Ford's sticker on the door pillar says 55# up front & 60# in the rear. The truck came with LT245/75R17 LR E.
