When buying a used TT a picture is NOT worth 1000 words...
It's useless apparently.
Traveled today to look at an older TT that looked pretty good in the ad, but unfortunately, upon a close look was a train wreck. It had water damage in a bunch of spots the seller thought was minor, but I thought was pretty bad. The floor was spongier than some trampolines I've been on and the finish on the bathroom cabinets was peeling off from excessive humidity.
Upon closer inspection the outside wasn't much better than the inside. It was obvious that a lot of the caulking was failing around the perimeters and hadn't been tended too in a while. If you cant take the time to caulk the easy to get to stuff, I know you didn't take time to tend to the roof.
Needless to say, I walked with my cash still in my pocket for a TT that wont be a huge project. I know some people are looking for projects, but not me... I just want to camp! :)
