Three glasses of wine = dumb threads.

So where do you have your garbage can/hang your garbage bag/throw your crap? Tell me it's not on the floor like in your truck...

After 3 glasses of wine I don't care! We have 2 small wastebaskets under the kitchen sink for trash and one for recycling. When that gets full and we are boondocking, we put the smaller bags into a much heavier mil trash bag and it goes to the back of the truck until we find proper disposal.

Now the spare TP has it's own shelf I made DW.

Inside camper we also have a small waste can that has a lid. Bag inside of it. We often 'hang a bag' but its to dump the waste can bag until we get somewhere to off load it. I use a tree or tallest bush I can find, usually a bit away from where were camped, though have used ladder. Hopefully it smells better than our camper when were in bear country. Nothing else it might serve as an early warning alarm ๐Ÿ™‚

Here's one: Where do you keep the spare TP and PT? It's got to be the wine.

Engineer or not, it seems like people who design lots of products don't bother to use the products they design. It's kind of a shame that there isn't a planned place for a wastebasket since we all need one.

Good to hear that I'm not the only one using a wastebasket.

I was getting worried that something was wrong with my methods after reading everyone prior to my post was hanging a bag here or there. LOL

I don't hang a bag, I put a waste basket in a floor cabinet near the door.

I have always questioned the notion of RV manufactures having engineers design RVs. :B If they did, we would not be having this discussion.

We put our trash can by the back door (bottom center of photo). It is out of the way, easy to get to.

I have a small nylon bag for the front and a trash can under the sink with kitchen size trash bag. When that is full, I take it to the trash if at campground. I try to do prep before going so the trash is minimal, but we are trained to recycle here in the Northwest.

Two metal tea cup hooks installed inside the cabinet door under the sink. The bag is always out of view. Hook the plastic bag on the two hooks. When its full unhook the bag and toss it. Then install a new bag.

Brilliant!!! We have used our new TH twice and have had the whole trash bag placement issue. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

When I did My camper build build I did not think about where to put the trash bag. On my old camper just hung a grocery bag on a door nob. No knobs in the new camper. I put in two knobs just to hang the bag. one across from the dinette (top left in the picture below) and one by the back door.

Plastic grocery bag hooked onto radio antenna. Hard to drive off and forget about putting it in the dumpster.
