Where to get a clear lens for the ceiling light fixture?

Having replaced the incandescent bulb with a flat LED "bulb" in the light fixture over the dinette, I want to replace the frosted lens with a clear one. The label on the fixture says "Riverside CA 92513 Model #F330002." (My TC is a 2002 Northern Lite 10-2.)

Where can I buy a clear lens for this fixture?
  • I was at a trade show and saw a new type of LED fixture that uses the clear lens. I went and bought one and installed it and was very impressed so I thought that having a clear lens on the older fixtures would be a good thing. Was just about to head out and buy some and decided that I would just remove the cover and run without and see.

Honestly the light is not as nice, more directional and does not light as large an area. When I put the smoked / frosted covers back on they really did not dim down the light output that much and I like the diffused look better.

The nice thing about the new fixture is that the LED's are spread over a larger area, in the old fixtures using the LED replacement bulbs they are smaller and concentrate the light more so need the diffusion.

Keep in mind that some of the lens need to diffuse the LIGHT from the fixture... The LEDs LIGHT BOARDS like to put out directed light from the many rolls of small led bulbs and the DIFFUSE LENS covers will spread that light out for better coverage in the room.

Just saying - everyones likes are different...

  • You might try a company called Arrow Distributing. They seem to have oodles of stuff for all kinds of our campers and for lighting.
