Seems to me that you need more A/C than 8K.
I use to have a 36' Class A diesel pusher with two A/C units. From the factory, it had two 13.5K A/C units. These two could not keep up with Nevada heat. When one A/C broke, I replaced it with a 15K unit.
Then the combination of a 13.5 and a 15K unit kept the inside bearable in a Las Vegas and Phoenix summer.
Now, comparing my diesel pusher to your TT might be a stretch in some people's opinion, but I just wanted to give you something to ponder. Hopefully someone with a TT will chime in.
