Who deleted the thread on the Allison plant closing?

It got political!

Rather than “who” deleted the discussion, “why” is more important. And it turned political.

Delete the offending posts and lock it. Deleting entire threads is seldom necessary.

Why lock it? Just delete the offending posts. Maybe some will realize what happened and stop the political comments.

Life is politics yet some want us to keep our heads in the sand and ignore the world.

It's not really the comments that become political that are the problem. I've seen many threads that are very political be allowed to remain active. It's when the posts becomes offensive to the person with the authority to delete it that threads disappear. In contrast, when you find something offensive and report it, your complaint falls on deaf ears most times.

Mods aren’t expected to read the new posts every fifteen minutes and delete the offending ones.

There are guidelines and if people get hateful, the thread gets closed and sometimes deleted.

We don’t see all the posts that get deleted. There is stuff happening behind the curtain.

Looks like I missed it.... just my luck! Just like those lottery numbers, every number I pick is only 1 number off.

I appreciate the mods just deleting it. If they just filtered out the idiocy the offenders would just keep posting.
