I keep finding more questions about our new to us 2010 Coleman Destiny Yuma.
Do any of you use a memory foam mattress pad on the original (very hard) mattress? If so what thickness? We tried a 2" and really could not fold the trailer down without a real struggle. Took that off and replaced it with a 1" memory foam topper, its better but sti;; doesn't seem right. Appreciate any thoughts on this.

We have a 2" on ours. Can't be completely shut when we leave it on the beds so we just roll it up and store in when traveling.

If you camp in the heat, the bunk ends will get really warm. There are a couple of ways to deal with this.

#1. Get a large roll of Reflectix at HD or Lowes and cut to fit between the zip down window flaps and the screen portion of the bunk ends.

#2 Get some bunk covers from www.popupgizmos.com

These two things will make the summer more bearable.

Having owned five popups we always found that neatly folding the canvas made the top go down easier, maybe that would help with the topper. Like Beer Belly said, you may want to it up and store it elsewhere.

I've never used a Topper, so I'm guessing here.....can it be rolled up and stored somewhere in the camper versus leaving it on the bed ?
*Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - "WOW, What a ride!"
