What kind of tie downs? I suspect the rear of the camper is moving up and down causing the porpoising. I had a dodge 1500 with camper and happijac tie downs. I noticed in side view mirror the rear bumber was flexing up and down allowing the camper to move. Switched to tork lift and ride was greatly improved.
