Window Shade Problem

My TT has the pull down accordion shades on the main windows. The kind where you push them up and they stay up. There are strings tied to wall anchors on either side.

On our last trip a few weeks ago, the string on one side broke and the shade will not stay up. The window surround is connected to the wall by L brackets in two places where I can see, but it seems to be connected on the top as well.

Has anyone ever had to fix this? Is there a kit?

yes I despise those shades. We re-string them everyday. Keep in mind that not every one can be re strung. Most can, but sometimes we run in to one that fits too tight. In that case, a new day/night shade must be ordered

Hundreds of posts on the subject. Buy a restring kit from any number of online sellers, take it down and restring it!
