Winter Cover Recommendations

Can someone suggest an RV cover for my 28 foot travel trailer? Also, it's ultimate length with tinge is more like 31'. What measurement do I go by? The box (28') or total length? Thanks.
  • I would cover the roof with a Sunshield tarp (extends over the sides, front and back depending on the tarp size) Much easier to put on, take off, and store.
  • Calmark is the best, but pricey, they will custom build it to your specific trailer, including zippers where your door is & including zippers up each side of any slide so you can open the slide while covered. If you have a model where you can't, for eg, access the bathroom with the slide in, that is a bonus.

    Nice camping weather, soundguy.

The box at it's longest dimension.

ADCO covers have worked just fine for me on the various trailers we've owned over the years. :B

Winterized and cover already? We still have a few trips planned before we winterized. I have never used a cover though.

  • Mitch150, your ADCO should outlast your TT. It looks like it gets recoated every year with tree sap and moss. :)
  • Thanks Mitch. Do you have snow/ice where you are in WA?
  • Box length and I have a 10 year old ADCO cover that does need to be replaced just because it's so dirty... But, it's still a very functional cover and does all that I need it to do.. :)
