Wow!! Unloaded camper on it;s new, very own place.

we built a new barn and one corner of it is reserved for the camper.
Wow!! what a refreshing change. We didn't have to worry about height clearance and we had 12ft of door width and 14ft of height. And the big thing was that we had a nice level slab to set it on and it's the 1st time we have ever unloaded a camper on a slab and wow what a difference. Far less stress :B

It still has to share the slab but it gets to claim a full half of the slab for itself.

Nice barn!
It's awesome to be able to keep everything out of the Weather.
I measured my camper around 12'-3"Tall on the truck and figured I'd not be able to get it in my 12' shop door.
Let all the air out of the airbags on the truck and it fits by about an inch! Didn't even have to air down the truck tires to get it inside. Pretty stoked about that!

That's great that just airing down the airbags got you inside your shop.
Our hay barn that the camper was parked in had 12ft walls and the door height was just over 11 ft our camper is 10'8" at the air conditioner.

We thought that was close.
The gravel floor wasn't level and it was always changing because of the tractor shoving it around during tight turns moving hay in and out. We had to make sure we parked it with the air conditioner away from any rafters so it wouldn't hit when we jacked it up off the truck. We won't miss that.
It is really nice that it has it's own space and I can do maintenance or modes on a nice level concrete floor under cover and with adequate lighting and power outlets, including a 30ampp RV outlet.
The electric hasn't happened yet but it will!!!

Real Nice addition. Lots of room in the Barn for extra toy's. The TC sitting there, seems a bit lonely!

Good idea. But not necessary because there are 3 12ft wide doors off of that slab.
The walk in door is at the camper side and there is another 12ft door on the side you can't see and it is right behind the discbine.
Once we finish with the gravel on the outside so that the truck is level going in we will set the camper closer to the door which will leave the center open for access to the center door and maneuvering space.

The main thing is you were smart enough to go with a 14' high door and didnt make the "12'high mistake" like so many do.

Thank you everbody for your nice comments.

Thats nice. I see you already put up your mower and baler for the winter as well.

Thanks
the hay equipment got put in their spot before the camper. The horses stole the machine shed on the side of the hay barn. And the camper was in the hay barn taking up the space of about 100 round bales.
Something had to change.Balers and disk binds earn their place in a barn and they are like campers, they last longer when they're protected from the elements.

Nothing like a big ole barn... About the only thing I can think of against the BARN idea is the mice and other four legged creatures always seem to be great big things in barns...

My dad always had a barn back in Illinois but I went the Electronics Career and was always on the road going somewhere...

Enjoy the open space - we both know how it is going to look in just a few months...

You sure have that right about the creatures.But......Piggy bank didn't have enough in it to varmint proof it.
Yeah space just begs to get filled.

Ya better take some nice closeup shots of those corners and blank wall spaces.
Because after a few months/years you will never see them again!!:)

Wow! Plenty of storage. Reminds me of what I use to have; a 24 x 65 x 14 with a door on each end. Was able to store the fifth wheel, truck and TC with lots of room left over. I no longer have it; downsized and moved close to the big city. Kinda miss those days though.

I no longer own the truck and TC in my signature.
