Zinger Lite Traven Trailer

Traveled fulltime for 17+ years. Wore out a 5th wheel and moved to a MH. Lost my life mate 2.5 years ago to the big "C" so sold the MH. Now I'm getting the itch to get back on the road.
Been looking at small lite weight TTs for just me and my fishing poles. I'm thinking about the CROSSROADS ZINGER 18' with no slides and would appreciate constructive input, good or bad from any current of past owners.

Any RV with "Lite" in the name...isn't.

My R-Vision built in 2001 was an exception to the rule. I did my research before buying.

This may be breaking news, but you're not going to find any mass produced RV in 2022 built anywhere close in quality to one built 21 years ago for a whole bunch of reasons. One being you only have a few players due to consolidations, acquisitions, etc. Another is Lippert has grown to dominate the component/supply end of the industry and everything they produce or distribute is garbage. Heck, your not going to find one today built as good as 21 months ago let alone 21 years ago. When they use the words lite, Light, Ultralight or anything else it means absolutely nothing. They're only marketing buzz words.
I have a burn barrel in my yard.

I had a well build lte R-Vision TT by Monaco Coach that I used for hard towing often in harsh conditions and locations from 2003 to 2017 and no serious problems with trailer. From TX to west coast and all over the PNW. Only minor issues I repaired myself. If Zinger is well built then go for it.

Gene,

I have a 2019 Zinger and it appears to be about normal for construction qualify. Fit & finish about par with other units reviewed, so nothing special, however all works as designed except the antenna system. I believe the digital system is lacking considerably.
