Hello all.
I am preparing a Jeep to flat tow out west this winter. I have it all ready to go except I can not decided on a portable brake controller. Looking seriously at the Blue Ox but would greatly appreciate hearing other peoples opinions on this subject.
Thanks

I’ll echo the above posts on the NSA products. I’ve used them on a 2dr Wrangler and now a Gladiator. No power required in Jeep while towing so no issues with battery drain.

We have and I've seen NSA tow bars with the built-in braking system used while traveling.

We had a box brake that worked well but with more frequent stops it was just one more chore. Eventually we switched to a build in brake. Out of the way and no setup as it was activated by the wiring harness.

But otherwise my box brake models are dated so can't help.
