took two rolls of 16"x48'x2" fiberglass insulation and used it to block the air passage from the dump valves and outside shower to the basement space under the shower pan and bathroom to keep the pipes from freezing, next up is wrapping the remaining exposed waterlines with insulating foam and filling the rest of the space with fiberglass batting

also replaced the outside shower head (forgot to drain it and it froze and cracked, only $10 for another cheapie).
