Buzz...Ford sure does make it a pain. Dodge is on top, but since the fuel pump went away at 122K I decided to go aftermarket pump and filters. They hang under the bed driver's side...two spin off canisters, water sep and partical filters...makes life so much simpler...don't even have to fill the filters when new but always do...the new pump is so much better. Have a great new year!
Pjay9,
I agree my 2006 Dodge 5.9 Cummins fuel filter change is a breeze to change after watching a youtube video. After shops charging me about 110.00 bucks to change a 15.00 filter I started to do it myself over 2 years ago. Only use Fleetguard for my truck. Heck I change it every 5000 miles. Sorry bout your fuel pump. Hope to avoid pump and injector replacement. Truck has 118,600 miles.
