I took a half round file to the rectangular drain holes in the 3 groove track, they were about an 1/8 inch from the bottom, it drains much better now. We have a Columbus with the same 3 door shower, ours had not been sealed properly, so I had to do that too, make sure the ends are sealed. I've thought about this a lot, from a transflow replacement tank to the in bed variety and like Cummins12V98 I don't mind stopping every 3 or 4 hours to stretch and fill up. I have been very nervous about running out in remote areas a couple of times, rather than spend up to a couple grand for tank and install, I will buy a vented 5 gallon jug or two as a safety measure which will get me an extra 50 to 100 miles if needed. I think they are less than 40 bucks each. I think its legal to carry diesel this way, isn't it?449Views0likes0CommentsRe: Dining Table wobble solution
Our TT table was wiggly, I milled a piece of redwood, rounded all edges, fastend it to the wall about a 1/16 below the table bottom with screws and strong adhesive (sika flex) then stapled adhesive backed velcro to the redwood and table bottom, the table was rock solid after that and it was a cheap fix385Views0likes0CommentsRe: TV wall mount
I mounted a 19 inch flat screen in our TT bedroom, I cut a piece of good quality plywood a couple inches wider than the mount and wide enough to hit 2 studs and used decent sized screws to set it, I also pre painted the plywood. It was an adjustable mount so we always took the TV down for travel and put it face down at the head of the bed, only took a couple minutes to do.
