The WF8945REP is a 45 Amp unit. The WF8955REP is a 55 amp unit. The 55 amp unit is slightly more expensive than the 45 amp. I hope this information was what you were looking for. Also Amazon has the 45 amp unit for a few bucks less and the 55 amp unit around 11 dollars less than the best converters website. This is the kit i used from Best Converter. Clicky It was more time consuming than difficult. As a side note I really like the fact that the dc outputs from the panel become filtered. I am taken back by the number of responses to this post. There is a lot of good information. I will be spending the better part of the weekend making calls to various parks. I realize you pay a premium for not much at state parks that are close to Appealing National Parks. Yet there is something about not having all of the conveniences of a full service campground that is appealing. I usually don't plan such a trip on such short notice. We are used to dry camping. We intend to spend 6 to 7 days in the area. We actually prefer state and NP. Although we have ventured into private campgrounds as needed. My wife goes back to work at the end of August. Although I would love to go in September or October it would be less than convenient. Anutami, Gold Bluff is tent only. Will they allow truck campers? Have you stayed in your truck camper there with no problem before? Profdant139, I will look into Prairie creek and Kamp Klamath now. We are thinking of traveling to northern California. More specifically the Redwood NP area. The trip will take place at the end of August. My question is two fold. First what are the best campgrounds, in or outside the park? Second things to do and see in the area? I will be also searching for activities online. Thank you for your input.
