It is a shared load, so the more amps being pulled by appliances and fixtures the lower the amps going to the battery.Re: Annoying converter. The WF8945REP is a 45 Amp unit. The WF8955REP is a 55 amp unit. The 55 amp unit is slightly more expensive than the 45 amp. I hope this information was what you were looking for. Also Amazon has the 45 amp unit for a few bucks less and the 55 amp unit around 11 dollars less than the best converters website. That is were I ordered from, since I have prime I received it in a couple of days.Re: Annoying converter. This is the kit i used from Best Converter. Clicky It was more time consuming than difficult. As a side note I really like the fact that the dc outputs from the panel become filtered. The lower box containing the original charger came out as a unit and the new unit fit into its place, utilizing the same mounting holes.Re: Battery size & capacity Lance Squire 8000Lance's website has an owner support tab, where you will find brochures and owners manuals as far back as 1993. The answer to your question may be there. Lance ClickyRe: Strange Lance wiring issueSounds like the wiring wasn't installed correctly to me. For the sporadic brake light, I would start by checking the connector and ground. This link is the one I used to wire my Lance 185s. Hope this help. Lance PlugRe: Best campgrounds in or around Redwoods NP?I am taken back by the number of responses to this post. There is a lot of good information. I will be spending the better part of the weekend making calls to various parks. I realize you pay a premium for not much at state parks that are close to Appealing National Parks. Yet there is something about not having all of the conveniences of a full service campground that is appealing. I usually don't plan such a trip on such short notice. Especially to a major tourist area. Thank you all for your responses.Re: Best campgrounds in or around Redwoods NP?We are used to dry camping. We intend to spend 6 to 7 days in the area. We actually prefer state and NP. Although we have ventured into private campgrounds as needed. The lighthouse would be a very fun and interesting trip. Adding it to the to-do listRe: Best campgrounds in or around Redwoods NP?My wife goes back to work at the end of August. Although I would love to go in September or October it would be less than convenient. Anutami, Gold Bluff is tent only. Will they allow truck campers? Have you stayed in your truck camper there with no problem before? Profdant139, I will look into Prairie creek and Kamp Klamath now. It seems we may end up in a private campground if we want to make there this year. Thank you everyone, keep the suggestions coming.Re: Best campgrounds in or around Redwoods NP?Thank You for your response. It is a little late in the year to plan such a trip. The NP campgrounds are all full, as expected. I will call the campground you listed to find out what there availability is. Thank You AgainBest campgrounds in or around Redwoods NP?We are thinking of traveling to northern California. More specifically the Redwood NP area. The trip will take place at the end of August. My question is two fold. First what are the best campgrounds, in or outside the park? Second things to do and see in the area? I will be also searching for activities online. Thank you for your input. Scott
