If the system is any good then I would think you would not know anything about customer service. I've had zero problems with mine. But the rep will answer any question you have and will give you his personal cell number.Re: Travel Route to Grand CanyonWe'll be going to GC in May. will be spending several days in the area biking and hiking and just touring. We stopped in once before coming back from our California trip. We probably spent a little longer than 3 hours there and it just made us want to stay much longer. Can't wait. Just to get away from here is good enough for me.Re: A True Rv'er Mike LeClair wrote: A Canadian, Eh? Makes my heart swell with pride!!!!!! Be kind to each other folks! Cheers! Mike I work with a Canadian, She kindly brings me back ketchup flavored chips every time she goes home to visit. Awesome....But she needs to stop saying sorry so much. Eh?Re: TPMS SystemsNot one of the choices but I've had a TST507 for about a year and a half now and am please with it. Customer service is great.Re: Double TowingAs an officer I would honestly not measure a double tow, unless it was ridiculously long and unsafe looking. Other than that, if they are driving safely and there are no other issues, they fine with me. But I'm just a regular patrol unit and not traffic. They get a bit serious on occasion.Re: REMINDER TO ALL: Keep a safe distance when towingThis is kinda relevant to what the OP wrote. Yesterday, was in a funeral procession for a fallen officer. About 150 of us in patrol vehicles with lights flashing escorting the body. Of course the road going our direction was blocked off for us so no one else was on it as we were traveling. But the other side, man, what a show. We honestly did appreciate all the drivers who actually stopped to show respect. But I couldn't count how many just randomly stopped in the middle of the lanes of the highway instead of pulling off to the shoulder. And this was not like a bunch of cars in one spot blocking the highway, This was random cars here and there just stopping in their lanes, with traffic still coming. Crazy. Thankfully all of our lights slowed people down quite a bit so there were no incidents that I am aware of. Some people just don't quite think things out.Re: Recent blowout - the good and the badI'm thinking maybe "mentally" automatic?Re: Booze in the RV... Legal? As a cop myself I would have zero issues with having booze stored in an RV. For one thing, how am I to know it unless there is something going on that means I need access to the inside. Unless I have a really really good reason I'm not gonna mess with that. Also, in over 20 years of copping I've never pulled over an RV. Here in Texas the law says it is an exception if you are in the passenger area of a functional camper or motorhome. Section 49.031 Texas Penal CodeRe: Coming back for my second round after 5 years--UPDATE40' trailer. Never not found a place to camp, never turned away.Re: 6 point auto level; Level-ish?Lippert has a smartphone app called myLCI that I've downloaded to my phone. Very convenient as it has everything right there on the phone. Seems to be for all Lippert products. Pretty cool.
