This includes batteries that were already sold. If you want to get the full charging speed out of these batteries, switch out your multi-stage converter for on that is designed for these batts. Progressive Dynamics sells a single stage converter that runs a constant 14.4 VDC charge (current tapers to zero when fully charged). But be warned. If you order the PD Converter from Amazon, there is only one seller. When I purchased mine from there, they shipped me a standard converter, and not the lithium version. And I had to pay the shipping to return it for a refund. I finally purchased mine from Best Converter for a fair price. JimRe: Axle recallsThe wording on the different recall letters from the RV manufacturers is a little misleading. The actual recall is based on missing inner races. Not bearings or seals. These are on Axles manufactured by Dexter, not LCI.Re: Bulb Seal RepairIf it's just a hole. plug it with a little silicone caulk. Make sure you let if fully cure before closing your slide. They are easy to replace if you need to do so. JimRe: Your Experience With Dish SatelliteI had to call Dish last week because I hadn't had my receiver connected for several months and it needed a software update. You young man I was talking to was very helpful and walked me through the process. While the software was loading, I asked him where his office was located. I was surprised to hear it was the Philippines. His English was better than mine... Anyway, I've been a Dish customer for three years now, and I'm pretty satisfied with them.Re: Traveling with petsIf we want to be gone most of the day, we put our pups in "day care". Most towns have some kind of daily boarding businesses. For example, we're planning on spending most of the day on 8/21 going to the solar eclipse. There is a small veterinary clinic with a pet boarding business on site right along our route. $30 to board two dogs for the whole day, and we don't have to worry about them. If we're just going to be gone for a few hours, we'll leave them in the RV with the AC running. We also leave the blinds closed. If they can't see out, they are much less likely to bark at people passing by.Re: 5th Wheel Suspension Upgrade ProblemYes, Very lightly grind the bronze bushings until you take off just enough material to start them into the Equa-flex hole. Then use a press to push them in. The hole shrink when you press them. Use a 17/32" drill bit on a bench press to redrill them. Make sure you go slowly so you don't leave any rough edges. It works perfectly. A second option is to replace the EquaFlex with MORryde CRE3000 or CRE4000 equalizers which will accept the bronze bushings just fine. JimRe: Thanksgiving in Arizona or Southern UtahMay I suggest Lake Pleasant Regional Park just north of Phoenix Arizona. This is a beautiful desert park with great lake access. Each site has water and power, and there are dump stations conveniently located. There is zero chance of snow like you'd get if you went a little farther north. We camp there every winter. If you make reservations soon, you will be able to accomodate your entire party. Here's a link to website where you can obtain information and make reservations: Lake Pleasant Reservations JimRe: What is a "Voluntary Downgrade?" valhalla360 wrote: TucsonJim wrote: Dispute the charge on your credit card. They offered exactly what you contracted for. The fact you didn't like it after agreeing to it isn't there problem from a contractual point of view (customer service/PR is different). As others have said for $23, just move on with life and next time do a little research before hand. For example: with Michigan State parks, their website has actual pictures of each site, so you can check before you even arrive. For other locations, try google earth or other aerial image sites. You're right. I misread the point about getting a voucher. JimRe: What is a "Voluntary Downgrade?"Dispute the charge on your credit card. It's one of the benefits of paying with plastic. Thank goodness school is back in session! That's good news that your wife is on the mend. I'm professionally unemployed (retired). I enjoy when the kids start heading back to class and the campsites open up, but it's always a reminder that in a few of short months we'll be winterizing our units. Jim
