I got one that runs my trailer and is quiet for about $1000 and I got the extended run option.Re: FW LevelIMHO that is about the best there is, I have had one on my fiver for years and it sure is nice that I can look in the mirror and see if I am level side to side before getting out of the truck. I just tell the wife which side we need blocks and it is done.Re: Fifth Wheel or Goose NeckI bought a 1 ton truck that did not have the 5th wheel rails, going to cost $500 just to put the rails in so I bought the adapter for the gooseneck, one trip and I got the rails installed. I will never try that again for numerous reasons, the flexing that I could see in the mirror on the front of the trailer to the bucking fore and aft that it did to my truck. IMHO the 5th wheel hitch is the way to go.Re: I want a generatorCheck out Boily generators, they make a 3600w with an Rv receptacle (30 amp) that I can stand right by and talk in a normal voice.....very quiet. They are about $1000, light and compact and it will fit in my tool box. I have one with an extended run tank but I don't know if that is offered anymore.Re: Fifth wheel to Gooseneck ????Good Luck to You, It did not work for me. I bought another truck that had a gooseneck in it so I bought the adapter, one trip and I spent the money to get the rails installed. I saw a whole lot of front to back bucking and a whole lot of flexing in the front of the trailer PLUS I found that it was a royal pain to hook up in comparison to a 5th wheel hitch. If anybody wants an adapter I will gladly sell it cheap.Re: Generator to run ACI suggest you take a look at Boily generators, they are a true sine wave, very light (I put mine in the truck tool box) and are quiet. It will run either of my A/C's without any problem and I have the extended run option which uses a boat gas tank to not have a re-fueling problem.
