Too bad, that's a nice grill. PM me if it's for sale. FIRST!!! We aren't squeamish.Re: I've lost my love of camping with the pop-upDelegate! Spread out the chores a little at a time.Re: Solar Panel Effectiveness Thru Tinted GlassOurs works under a cover! Just to make sure, install the panel and check the voltage.Re: Covering the RV for the winterWe plug it into a small 15 amp receptacle because of the 6 batteries. Re: Golf Car(t)s nomad297 wrote: What advantage does a gas golf cart have over an electric? Can they handle hills better? Do they have more power? Bruce Generally the power aspect is the same. Gas carts don't need to be recharged but you do need to carry gasoline.Re: Golf Car(t)sWe love our electric golf cart. Both of us have bad knees. Our cart enables us to move about freely and enjoy all the amenities of the campground/RV resort. The swimming pool, store and any activities are much easier and more convenient to us. We greet people as we pass and sometimes have very pleasant conversations with other campers. It's also much easier to carry chairs and cooler with snacks and beverages. Essentially traveling with a cart gives us more bang for our buck. We perceive having and using a golf car based vehicle as value added to each camping trip. There are many campgrounds that do permit carts but restrict usage of gas golf cars. Some petroleum types can be a little noisy, especially the 2 cycle models. I'll refrain from critiquing peoples actions and try to stay on topic and answer the OP.Re: 20K and 2.5 yr fight secures a win over HOA for RV parking dodge guy wrote: HOA`s should all be banned! Ours is great. We chose this development because of a tremendously picky HOA. They are fussy as anything, just the way we want it. No colored christmas lights, no company (marked) vehicles in the driveways after business hours, parking is strictly regulated, window treatments must be white on the side facing the common areas and Gnomes.... forget about it. We are allowed to have a properly displayed American flag.Re: what kind of bug is this Cow KillerRe: Apology to Wawaloam Campground tropical36 wrote: like most things in NE. for 1 1/2 hours from 8 - 9pm one evening. It took a moment but NE is the abbreviation for Nebraska. He may be referring to North East or maybe New England. Is that metric time? How do you pack 1.5 hours into the period of tie between 8:00 and 9:00? Now certainly I'm being a little facetious. :) It does show how the OP plays a little fast and loose with the English language and sort of bends the actual meaning of words and symbols to his personal whim. Like the nonexistent apology he thinks was implied in the OP. Quite a few of us alter what we say or read to suit the context of our personal thoughts at the time and he is trying to persuade us to do the same. If OP didn't comprehend that everyone is required to register and pay a fee to enter the campground it might be attributed to an occurrence like Selective Hearing or the perception that seems to becoming more and more prevalent in our country today... Rules are for the other guy.Re: Movement in CamperThe rebound "bouncy" type motion of a suspension system isn't like the gentle rolling of a vessel on the water.
