When I downloaded RM Dock I could not connect my GPS. RM support was no help. A buddy told me to charge the GPS in my car, then everything went fine. My laptop is running Windows 10. Had to install the download twice to get it to launch properly. mRM Dock said my device was not connected. After I charged the unit all was fine.Re: Dang Annoying BeeperI have a 2005 Monaco Diplomat with the same problem. I have narrowed it down to a sender that is slow when you shift into drive with the brakes released, the sender is a safety so you don't drive away with the brakes still set. I believe the sender is on the transmission, that is where a Cummins Bridgeway shop told me, but there is more than one when I looked at it, all look identical.Re: Las Vegas, Nv campgrounds Doc Foster wrote: Has anyone stayed here? http://www.lasvegasrvresort.com/index.html We are here now. There is a grade retarder built into trans along with a Jacobs Engine brake on 600 horse Cummins. denn0007 wrote: rkenly wrote: i just bought a new to me coach. it is a 1998 chassis since im not home right now, dont know which allison it has. however when i did my walk around, it has a big sticker that the dexron 2 fluid has been replaced with engine oil (15-40). the dealer indicated that a lot of coaches did this to have smoother shifts? is that because of dextron2 vs newer dextron 3, or transynd? better to just leave it, or upgrade to transynd? tia >>>Rod<<< Re: Allison Tranny FluidI have had alot of experience with 15w40 in the Allison trans pulling out of coal pits 80,000 lbs and doing it for 400,000 trouble free miles with regular maintenance. denn0007 wrote: rkenly wrote: i just bought a new to me coach. it is a 1998 chassis since im not home right now, dont know which allison it has. however when i did my walk around, it has a big sticker that the dexron 2 fluid has been replaced with engine oil (15-40). the dealer indicated that a lot of coaches did this to have smoother shifts? is that because of dextron2 vs newer dextron 3, or transynd? better to just leave it, or upgrade to transynd? tia >>>Rod<<< Re: Allison Tranny Fluid rkenly wrote: i just bought a new to me coach. it is a 1998 chassis since im not home right now, dont know which allison it has. however when i did my walk around, it has a big sticker that the dexron 2 fluid has been replaced with engine oil (15-40). the dealer indicated that a lot of coaches did this to have smoother shifts? is that because of dextron2 vs newer dextron 3, or transynd? better to just leave it, or upgrade to transynd? tia >>>Rod<<< Re: Anyone have experiance towing a 2013 Taurus AWD denn0007 wrote: denn0007 wrote: Wrong Lane wrote: About to switch toads. Looks like we will get a 2013 Ford Taurus AWD with a 3.5. Owners manual and dealer say no problem to tow this car 4-down. I am wondering if anyone has any first hand experiance towing this model. Looking for feedback, positive or negative before we make a final decision. If you are towing this car what set-up are you using for baseplate, tow-bar, lights and brakes? Thanks I have a 2012 AWD and am using a Blue Ox setup with a SMI Air Force One brake system. The first time I towed the car had a dead battery after 4 or 5 hours of towing, so now I stop every 2 or 3 hours to stretch my legs and start the car for a few minutes. We have put about 8000 miles on with no issues after I figured out the battery thing. Love the car.Re: Anyone have experiance towing a 2013 Taurus AWD denn0007 wrote: Wrong Lane wrote: About to switch toads. Looks like we will get a 2013 Ford Taurus AWD with a 3.5.
