How do i delete the post, i was just trying to pass on info that i had not seen before and i have had a couple of GMC's since 2011 and missed it in those manuals. Actually i just looked at my op and i had it right, forgot everyone on here already knows everything, bye.Re: Owners manual info GMCMy point is what the manual states, its useless until you are at 75% of gvwr. And actually detrimental to your mpg.Owners manual info GMCI bought a 2018 GMC 2500 dsl a couple days ago and today was reading the owners manual. In it about towing it said not to use tow/haul unless you were at 75% or more of gcwr. It said it was of no benefit and could cause you to use more fuel. I personally have never used tow/haul unless the trans was hunting between gears in all the trucks i have owned.Re: CA Hwy 1Downtheroad, yes a Tiffin DP 38QRA and 20ft enclosed trailer. Total length was right at 65ft. There will be instances where you will be using both lanes. You have to be aware of what you are driving and watch for everyone else as well. In my opinion i disrupt the traffic no more than the bicycles do.Re: CA Hwy 1I would do it. Driven hwy 1 numerous times and yes there are some tight turns.Re: Def fluidIts the universal answer from the dlr. I had a 2011 GMC and the tank had to be replaced at 600 mi and again at around 75k mi. As well as a sensor a couple of times. It has nothing to do with the def you are using.Re: Truck bed rubber matI understand you dont have conveyor belt, but you could likely get used belt for nothing and depending on its thickness sandwich plywood between the belt material to get your required thickness. Just trying to help.Re: TC ???Anyone know if a Ram Laramie has air suspension or is it an option ? Had a dlr send me info on 2 they have and the lower trim has a pkg that includes rear air suspension but cant see if Laramie does. Dont know if it would matter though. I wil go there next week and look at them.Re: TC ???Isn't that in Wells ?Re: TC ???The guy has more stuff in it than my house. He said he has weights for lifting. Researching Dually already as my boat and trailer are approx 7500 lbs and i also have an enclosed trailer that varies from 4-8 k. By the time i add tounge weights i will need it.
