Our toilet is leaking - it looks like it's clean water so it's not an emergency at least. The caulk around the bottom has come loose. Would it leak just because the caulk needs replacing, or should I have a service person check it out?

The 12 volt TV in our '04 Pleasure Way Plateau bit the dust on our last trip. It's totally enclosed in a lovely corner cabinet over one of the twin beds; we can't see any screws or any way to start to get the old one out, much less put in a new one....
We're travelling for a couple of weeks in the Northeast states, and most of the campgrounds are closed so we're boondocking at Cabella's. They have dump stations, but not fresh water. Where do you find water when boondocking?
Do any of you have a composting toilet in your B? If so, how do you like it? What brand do you have? Did you install it yourself, or was it a professional install?
I did use silicone grease; it just helped a little. Think I'll get a good faucet installed when I get the toilet checked out. Any suggestions for a good brand?
It's a Thetford; can't see what model. I flushed it and put paper towel in the back and it didn't leak. It doesn't leak very often, but I'll be sure and have it checked out asap. Thanks for your responses
We keep our's plugged in and keep a small electric heater set on low so the interior won't get too cold. Also keeps the fridge running. We just assume it's best to keep the interior temperature from getting too cold and/or hot. It's at home, and w...
