ThanksRe: OIL ConsumptionAll great info and thanks again guys , if it helps both trucks are and were fully deleted when on the LMM never saw any oil loss at changes and the LML fully deleted as wellRe: OIL ConsumptionHmm ok and thanks for the replies , theres no leak what so ever and no blue smoke just the normal cloud "small" cloud from my tunes because blowing smoke is stupid but any how was just wondering what would cause it to burn oil vs the LMM .... ill keep searching online .... Thanks again allOIL ConsumptionHello all its been a while since posting anything since the ball joint failing on my LMM :S do to my stupid choice and China made **** .. not all made in China is **** but those were lol Anyway so ive had my lml now for almost a year , got it with 120k now at 149 and the last two oil changes or just before I get the "LOW ENGINE OIL or ADD OIL NOW" or whatever it says so I checked the dip and bone dry.... my past LMM with 388k when the ball joint snapped had never burned a drop of oil and this has happened twice now , anyone else go from an LMM to LML and notice this?Re: Two Truck Styles, Which is BetterAnd of yeah resale ? I’m 33 years old and plan to drive my current truck till 500k or when it doesn’t want to drive anymore isn’t that what they are made for ? Does no one keep and use them like I heard in the past. These newer heavy trucks are still in great condition at 200k not to mention them coming off the line just a heck of a lot more stout making it all that much easier to make it into the higher miles and still be a safe tow vehicle ......Re: Two Truck Styles, Which is BetterMy first heavy truck was an LMM extra cab LB on 325 60 20 as a daily driver and I live in ca and having been in several other cc trucks towing and not the LB does ride better loaded and unloaded Sadly that truck was totaled and I searched high and low for that same configuration as the (3500hd srw EC) is going to have the highest payload in the SLT package and I can tell you the double cab LB is the way to go , once you have an 8ft bed you’ll never go back and far as the truck it seems to be really stout and seems like it’ll make it the 380k like the last one did...Re: Went to the car show...Ram Power wagonI have a 15 slt same thing as the denali minus a thing or two and the payload is 36xx and in the SRW configurations the ram seems to have the lightest payload of the three so not sure what spoon is talking aboutRe: Any here know injection pumps?Truck is already on its way but as far as the joints , the ones on my last and first truck an 08 ext cab lb with 381k on the original joints with no issues but small amount of play and I just thought it would be a good idea to change them and when I did the new ones failed so im not to worried about joints with just over 100k on em but I will take care of it as the last one I did And far as another truck the GM product seems to be the best of both worlds far as the big three plus not that it matters but its the quickest and thats stcok tooAny here know injection pumps? So im buying a 15 duramax with 119k on the clock and im concerned about the injection pump being a cp4...im not sure but the sticker on the door says 11/4 so im asumming this is the build date or there another way to find it ? if im right it does not come with the bosch updated ones that come in the 15.5 models now I know there are alot here that do not believe in tuners but I am going to tune it are there any here with ones with or without any issues with their pumps that are over 100K in miles?Re: Buying new truck but what truck is the better deal?Hmm that’s what I’ve been thinking , going to the bank in the am think I’ll go with the white one the 15 and I’ll post it once it arrives
