Shorter camper with having extra seating.. 2. getting in and out of camper with bed down really wasnt an issue. But we didnt have kids just adult kids. Cons.....1. We basicly only used it when raining out an stuck in camper.. Rest of time we left bed in down position..2. With anything over a 3 inch mattress topper we had to flip the topper back when puttin up the bed because of the shelf in order to get it to close.. 3. Bed is higher than normal and you have to crawl in and out from the bottom of the bed. Husband was diagonsed with RA and it got harder and harder for him to get in and out of the bed. We loved having the murphy bed at first but it ended up with us barely using the love seat.. The first couple years we were ok with having to crawl in from the end of the bed. But after some medical problems it got to be difficult getting in an out of.. Would I buy another with a murphy bed if we didnt have the medical problems? Real possibility as we have to stay under 25 foot in order to keep it at home.Re: Michigan state parks extend closuresI agree. Close the restrooms and bath houses if you have too. The motels never got closed. Im safer in my camper than there..Campsites are farther apart than motel rooms as well..Re: Name That TT !!!Check inside the door frame when u open the door.. My best friends old camper had the info and serial tag there..Re: Extended warranty. What are your thoughtsMy DH works for a Ford Dealership and has a 2016 ford 250. Hes refused all extra warranties.. The FIL worked for 35 years at a Ford Engine Plant and he also refuses the extra stuff.. So I would say no....Re: Traveling with a tailbone injuryThey make inflateable air mattresses for car back seats might work? She could try and get some kind of waiver from her doctor to satisfy the law . I know my husband had a seatbelt waiver after his shoulder surgery..Re: Anybody else have trouble packing for campingWe have a TT but my niece has a pop up... She has 4 to 6 plastic tubs just for camping.. She keeps them in a closet in the house... She has everything packed in those tubs. Two for kitchen (shes a huge dutch oven cooker) 1 for bathroom and shower, 1 for misc. 1 for backpacking stuff and 1 for clothes. I know she has clothes packed in one for her self and her husband.. When the 3 kids were younger she packed before leaving for them as they kept growing...They have had this popup since she was pregnant with the first.. She says she can shove a couple tub in the popup door when its down. The rest go in their van.. She keeps lists and updates them frequently.. She has a master list she keeps on the side of her fridge and each tub has a laminated list on top. she is very organized and they go camping about every weekend..Re: Broken key, locked out of TT, no spare :(can u pop the emergency exit window and get in?Re: School me in public parks camping...in ohio its https://ohiostateparks.reserveamerica.com/ But I bet if you just type in the state and state parks in search bar it will take you there.example indianastatepark..The park website will tell you the amenities.. We camp mostly in state parks..Re: Kidde Fire Extinguisher recallIf you have a boat check that one too.. They replaced both the TT and our boat extinguishers and since they were a different size diameter they sent a bracket as well.. No problems with them so far..Re: GnatsI use left over pickle or olive juice.Poke a few holes int the lid of a jar with the pointy end of the pop/can opener and put leftover juice in it. sometimes i just set the jar out if the pickles or olives are gone..
