Progressive EMS is growling at me/Loud hummmm
I have had this EMS-HW50C from Progressive for about 10 years without any troubles. Now it is Growling/Humming loudly. everything appears to be working. no errors. maybe on its way out? any ideas. Yes, been using a Hopper 3 for several months. You don't need to use the new (Hybrid) LNBF. You can use the standard LNBF that comes with a Travler. However, you will have to buy a DPH42 switch. Here's a set of instructions. OK, I ordered one of these Tuesday, it arrived Friday. Fast. Now I've got to figure out how to install it. Didn't really include any directions.
