I have met and seen many , many who were not happy with their towing experience or were not towing safely. GET the 250!!! I have used many equalizer "named" hitches and they were fine BUT when I got my present trailer I bought the Reese dual Cam hich. It is the best of all of the hitches I have used over 57 years.Re: tire timeLast year I put Sailun, 16 inch G rated on my trailer and I run them at 95 PSI , as recommended by Fountain tire in Kamloops.Re: slide making popping noisesLook Here. tons of info on "popping slide noise" https://www.openrangeowners.com/ORforum/index.php?sid=8436841fb3d00274a0f093179638b743Re: Good Sam ERS Hung Us Out to Dry MarkTwain wrote: No ER service from good sam:(:(:( Suggest you call GS customer service and ask to speak to a supervisor to resolve this issue. They should at least pay for the cost from the company you paid. Or offer you 1 free year of GS ER service. Why would you suggest 1 year of free GS Er service.? They don't provide the service he paid for!!!! Another year of nothing is still nothing............Re: Lithium cost keep dropping! 3 tons wrote: rexlion wrote: That would be one of the few things that is dropping in price these days. I think it’s mostly due to the value of money going down…:) 3 tons If the value of money is going down, the price of an item should be increasing!!!?Re: Space heater recommendations? We have a Vornado . Best unit ever for our Trailer. Google it.Re: Thoughts on WD hitch needI use a Reese dual cam for my rig and could not be happier with the performance. My trailer is 36 feet tip to stern with a Gvw of 12000 lbs. Hitch weight fully loaded is 1470 pounds. Trailer is rock steady with absolutely no sway even in an emergency collision avoidance maneuver. Someone pulled out in front of me from a side road when I approached at 65 mph. I had to swerve immediately to avoid running over their small vehicle. The trailer followed perfectly with no sway. I did have to stop for a change of wardrobe.Re: RV DealersIt would be illegal to tow a trailer without operational brakes , which requires a 12volt battery to emergency stop if the electric hookup was disconnected from the tow vehicle. I doubt a dealer could allow a trailer off their lot with no battery.Re: Crummy headlights - Can't see, need upgradewhen I had a 2007 Chev 2500 I changed the headlight bulbs to LED. It was an amazing improvement. I googled a company called Headlight Revolution and watched their Youtube video's. Then went to their website and ordered their recommendation at that time. When I bought the 2012 Ram 3500 I immediately knew why Owner's were so upset with the OEM headlight's. I went back to Headlight Revolution's site and ordered their recommendation for led's for my RAM truck. A world of difference!!! A little pricy but the replacement was a straight drop in plug and play led. When the new led is installed correctly and adjusted they will not blind oncoming traffic. I am well satisfied with the replacements
