Check the Spark specs, I saw two spec sheets that listed the base weight over 2200 lbs.Re: What do I need to know - smart car- toy haulerI have almost 147,000 miles on my 2010 Smart Car. They are safe to drive and have respectable crash performance. I've worked in the Automotive manufacturing business for 33 years and don't have any concerns about its safety performance. I carry my Smart in a Raptor 412TS. There is no problem with ground clearance or high centering on the ramp. My car weighs in at 1,860 lbs. The RV ramp is rated for 3,000 lbs. I've hauled the Smart in the Raptor for a few thousand miles with no issues. Re: New Rapter 428SPOur 412TS has/had the King Suite. We quickly found that the mattress is not a real king. Residential king nor queen sheets fit it. I took the Keystone King mattress out and put in a residential queen. Much more comfortable and the sheets fit.Re: To slide or not to slide, that is the question.Did your dent look like mine?? Re: Hauling a smart car in toy hauler fifth wheelNever leave home without my Smart Car. Re: MDT truck 2oldman wrote: cwill925 wrote: This truck has 22.5 tires on it. Front's are G661's, rear's are G149 RSA's, 22.5. I know Goodyear may not show them on their website, maybe once they did and discontinued them, I don't know.Re: MDT truck 2oldman wrote: cwill925 wrote: I saw this truck in my home town on a used car lot.. That's what I'm talkin' about. The only problem I'd have with that is the 19.5" tires. I'd look for the 22.5s This truck has 22.5 tires on it. I've seen it and it's noted in the description. The description does have an error on the engine specs. It says it has a 7.2l, 3300hp CAT. I think it should read "300hp". If it were 3300hp it would be in my drive way with flames painted on the side and at the drag strip each weekend... :) Lower in the description the dealer does note that it is a CAT C7 300hp.Re: MDT truckI saw this truck in my home town on a used car lot. I don't know the history or condition. The price is about the same as a loaded pick-up truck. Click here. I have no ties to the dealer. seller or other parties. Just passing along a find.Re: MDT truckI have a 2006 Sportchassis built from an M2-112. I pull a toyhauler with either a Smart Car or motorcycles in the garage. I don't use the truck as a destination run-about vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to use in that way, just don't need to. The bikes and Smart get 40+ MPG. I do drive the truck around home for exercise and fuel runs. I don't have any problems with in-town driving. As some have already said, it turns shorter than a pick-up truck. The Sportchassis is longer than a pick-up, so one parking space doesn't work. The nose or tail will be over the line. This truck is a pre-emission model so none a the re-gen or DEF needed. Was looking at a set of these for my 2013 Keystone Montana High Country 338DB. Thanks! Had them on my last Fuzion toyhauler. I saw the trailer 2 years later and the same tires were still on it. I have them on my current Raptor toyhauler and on my farm/utility trailer. No problems in the last 5 years.
