Dress warm and get after them!:B NWS is saying for Sunday "snow-then snow", lol. I'm officially calling the opening of Spring next Wednesday it should be close to 50f. actually i think its going to make it harder. yes you can see them easier on the white snow, but they can also see you easier.plus the snow makes noise when your trying to sneak in on them and they have extremely good hearing(and eye sight). not to mention, the winter like weather seems to be keeping them from getting in the mating mood. havent seen any strutting toms as of yet in my area.plus the toms havent been hanging out with the hens.still in their winter flocks. but none of this will keep me from going after them. just going to have to treat it more like a fall hunt and try to figure out where and when they are going to be,then set up and wait to ambush them.Re: Will this winter end...the only thing that real grinds me gears with winter lsting this long it messes up my spring turkey hunting and i dont like my turkey hunting getting messed withRe: Connecting phone to TV (as in television, not tow vehicle)i download shows form netflix on my laptop. currenlty watching Longmire and The Frankenstine Chronicles. i watch them when i do overnights in the semi.i dont even fire up my wifi hot spot. that way i dont use up my data(i only have 14 megs of data)Re: Phone activated functions on an RV???personally i would not use such an app i dont do online banking with my phone or laptop i dont like the idea of my personal info being out there where some skilled hacker has access to it.Re: Highway Driving Old-Biscuit wrote: Multi-lane Right lane for exiting Center lane for through traffic Far left lane for passing IF/When I am on Multi-lane I drive the center (or 2nd from right) exactly how i do it in the big rig,as do most semi drivers. when you do come up on a semi only go 60 in a 65 or higher area please dont get upset with the driver.most fleets have their trucks governed at 60 for fuel mileage reasons. trust me,all of us who drive for living wish we could go the posted speed limitsRe: Why not to buy used. jplante4 wrote: sneakygroundbuzzard wrote: kills me how so many people who think used is the only way to go,like to tell others how to spend their money. I'm not trying to tell you how to spend your money. If I had the money, I'd go and get Liberty to build me a coach on a Prevost and not look back. I'm only pointing out that not wanting to sleep in a "used" bed is the dumbest justification for buying a new rig. Do you only stay in brand new hotels? Imagine the debauchery that occurred on those beds!!! What do your friends and relatives say when you ask them to buy a new mattress for your next visit? I get that you feel that you need to justify your stance because deep down you know it's wasteful. Just saying "That's the way I want it" should be enough. well i have never stayed in a hotel(never seen the need for it). only stayed at a relatives house one time, that was in Fla when we were on vacation.and yes they had ust put a brand spanking new bed in their brand spanking new guest room.so theres that. and no i dont need to justify any thing that i do or buy. i have worked hard all my life.we have lived like poppers for the most part.now we are at that point in our lives where we want what we want and wont settle for anything less. new vehicles, new campers, new motor cycles etc. the only justification i need is that these are what i want and i wont settle for less.i would go with out if i cant get what i want. ;)Re: Why is that ? I'm in Cottonwood county, MN down in the windom area. i go through there every week with the semi, usually see lots of turkeys down there in the spring. well most springs, not this year as of yet. i do most of my hunting north of st cloud. got lucky and found myself a piece of public land that has a lot of birds on it,and i havent seen another turkey hunter on it in during spring season in the four years ive been hunting it.
