My dad has an artic fox(I don't remember the model number) it's the long wheelbase with double sides and a mid dry bath. It is nice but the inside of my aspen seems so much bigger than his. I liked the layout of the chinook but I use my camper to fish tournaments most so I always have a boat hooked to my truck also. The aspen with the side door was just easier for meRe: Host ChinookI have the 2014 aspen SB and carry it on my 2014 Chevy 2500. I added bags and stable loads and don't have any complaints. I'm from Alabama and bought mine from toms Camperland in Arizona without ever seeing one in person and Allen was great to deal with. He even helped when I had a delivery service pick it up and ship it to me.Re: How tall is your truck and camper really? I don't have an exact height ,but it is definitely tall. Please note, photo width of 640 preferred with 800 acceptable.Re: Host Everest vs the Eagle Cap 1165I have an Aspen sb triple slide. It has a similar layout and the two dump locations are the same as the Everest. For the space gained by having the toilet and sink in the slide and the dual bedroom access it is worth it and not really a big deal. I have no complaints about my host it is well worth taking a look at.Re: Tom's Camperland BS with Host assistI bought a host Aspen sb triple slide from Allen last year. I purchased it and had it shipped to me in alabama. He was very helpful and even handled the shipping for me on his end even though I hired the company. I hope everything works out they are great campers and Allen was great to deal with on my purchase.Re: Host Aspen SBJust a heads up to those interested. I have now spent almost a month in the new camper and it couldn't be better. I have been around 2000 miles with it and the truck handles fine. I added bags and stabaloads and have not had any issues. The camper is freaking huge compared to anything else I have been inside including so big long wheel base campers. I had four people in it the other night with no problems. The basement storage is great and having a shower that big is probably my favorite thing about the camper. I would recommend giving one of these a definite look if you are in the market. All I need to do now is add some led floods on the side and she it good to go. I would post pictures of the boat truck and camper together but my iPad is stupid. Thanks for all the suggestions.Re: Host Aspen SBThanks for all of the opinions I was just looking to see if anyone else had this camper and their hauling setup. Not really looking to start a pissing match. Thanks anywayRe: Host Aspen SBIt showed up a day early. Arrived this afternoon and pictures don't do it justice it is big, but the layout is awesome. It is like being inside two of my old campers at once.Re: Host Aspen SBI looked at a ton of different campers, but keep coming back to this one. I don't ever plan on loading it with water.
