Because of a previous post about the HOV lanes in Atlanta, I sent the following email to the HOV folks: Subject: RVs in HOV Lanes? May I drive in a PeachPass and/or HOV lane with my truck towing a fifth-wheel trailer? I have a PeachPass and 2 or more people but have 4 axles. If you Google Natchez Trace campgrounds you can get to the NPS website that has a listing of campgrounds: http://www.nps.gov/natr/planyourvisit/upload/Campgrounds-2-9-14.pdf Then use rvparkreviews to check them out and you are set. Both the gray and black valves got to be difficult to operate on our FW after 3 years. I did a Google search for "lubricating rv dump valves" and got many suggestions on how to fix. I used the "drill a hole in the valve gate housing and squirt in silicone" procedure and now they work very well. We stayed two weeks last June at John Prince park in Lake Worth. It's a nice park with lots of bike trails, close to shopping, clean rest rooms and laundry. The airport was not a problem at all. There were not many campers there since June seems to be "off-season". We stayed one night last June at McDowell Nature Preserve campground on the SE side of Charlotte metro. I don't remember much about it, fairly easy to get to, large enough for our 30' FW,clean bath/restroom. We also camp at the Mt Pleasant KOA, it's a good campground, clean bathhouse, etc. We drove the F250 over to Charleston the first two trips but last year we went to Patriot Point and took the Water Taxi over to Charleston. It's reasonably priced, you probably will see dolphins and you don't have to worry about parking in the city. Have fun!410Views0likes0Comments
