Tropic Trailer is right off I-75 West side of interstate. They have a web site on the internet.Re: Grand Design vs Jay FeatherI do not like the walk thru bathroom. Sort of leaves one stuck in the bedroom if someone is dressing or showering in the bathroom. The GD 2450 RL to me is has more use able floor plan with no inconvenience to either person or persons using the bathroom. The only thing I do not care for on the GD 2450 RL is the way the Theater seat protrudes out blocking much usable counter space. The 2500 RL has no hanging closet space other than the hers and hers on each side of the bed. Whereas the 2450 RL like the Jayco has a nice size hanging closet in the bedroom , plus the hers and hers beside the bed.The Jayco has 27 RL has more storage in the bathroom that the GD 2500 RL or 2450 RL, but the walk thru bathroom is still an no, no to me. None offer remote control power slides, stabilizer jacks and awing. Jayco offers Good Year Endurance as option-able tires.I would want E series tires, NOT D series. The aluminum steps are nice, but on the 2500 RL with 2 doors the steps stick inside so you would need to extend the main entrance steps as well as the bedroom door steps,as they would stick out into the living /bedroom area when up. Also depending on your trailer storage area or storage yard, these steps could create a entry problem as there would be no room to extend them to enter, as trailers are generally park very close together. Jayco 2 year warranty is a plus you don't see with any other mfg. and they do a good job honoring it. Just pointing out a few observations after owning 3 new ravel trailers since 2011, but it all coming down to what you think you can live with. MPG 18.5 (13 mpg towing),5 year 50,00 mile basic warranty. This will be the next truck I will be look at. G.reed.Re: Tire Recommendations for 7500 GVWR TTOther tire manufactures make E 10 ply tires in your tire size. Goggle your tire size with E load rating 10 ply. Look at Tow Max, Carlisle amoung others. G. ReedRe: Tire Recommendations for 7500 GVWR TTI have a 2014 Eagle 266 RKS and had D 8 ply rated tires. The first tire blew out at 6000 miles. I removed all the D rated tires and installed E 10 ply rated tires. The load capacity went from 2200 lbs. per tire to 2840 lbs. per tire. Also the tire pressure went from 65 PSI to 80 Psi. The increased tire pressure creates less rolling resistance, les tire squirming from side winds( better stability) and my towing fuel mileage went up 1 mile a gallon. For the minor cost difference go with the E rated 10 ply tire. G. ReedRe: Need track guide for Irvine room dividerDid you contact Irvine direct? They are on the web.Re: Park It 360 TT Dollysbowman I have had a parkit for 4 years and also have had to replace the switch Because of the switch contacts ,wires and wire terminals burning up. Sent photo of the defective switch to Jim at Parkit suggesting a design change as I feel switch is to small for application. Parkit. Had to purchase complete new switch.Re: Park It 360 TT DollyI push my trailer up and down my drive way and a portion of that travel up the 2 % Grade is a cross a grassie area. No problem. Park it 360 also is available with Tires for unpaved surfaces ( grassie conditions). My unit has standard paved surface tires. All units are available with optional brake control. You plug your trailer cord into the Trailer plug on the 360 and apply your trailer brakes. Works great. Gary ReedRe: Park It 360 TT DollyAlso look at the Trax 6000. Go to sales@traxpower.com. That unit appears to have better handling capabilities than the Parkit 360. The rear Dolly wheel takes a lot of load off the handle turning. Also the Trax unit is 36 volt ( more power verses the 12 volt 360. Also the Trax has Has a unique ball to trailer coupler system. Look at all the videos on the Trax and learn more about it. I have a parkit 360 10,000 lbs unit with 8700 gvw trailer and use on about the same Grade as you. Many problems with my unit with chain jumping from continue loosening. Actually considering changing to the Trax unit right now. After viewing the videos the Trax looks like a better unit. The Trax was on sale just a week ago for $1400. Try to deal with them for that lower price if you decide. Gary Reed
