They are a chemical-free alternative to dryer sheets that can also increase drying efficiency.Re: Dilemma ! maranatha777 wrote: Thank you all. My Jayco says 28 but is actually 33'. Companies used to stretch their info on weight etc. until they went with the standard label they use on the lower front of the drivers side. Hopefully they'll start with length, i.e. don't call it a 28 or 29.5 in the model number if the length is different. Maybe I am missing something here but they call it a RL28TS and sure enough it's a rear living room and triple slide:) I've been told several times that the number in the model is the floor plan length, not the external length. But I'm skeptical that some like yours are 5 feet longer than the floor plan. Guess it depends how they measure the floor plan (maybe not including front closet shelves or something?). Some units attempt to control that by (IIRC) having silver nitrate in them. I use bottled water for all my potable needs. Didn't that bottled water go through a similar system?Re: Generator options gtnsmlr wrote: AS for the heavy lifting, I installed a 99 dollar HF boom lift to get the genie in and out. It also works great for the hitch and anything else I don't want to hassle picking up. it stows under the bed rail. Wow, that lift is cool! I didn't know they made one that small and inexpensive.Re: 5th wheel manufacturer reviewsI've seen www.rv.org mentioned a few times. But a pickup dually is only that wide at the rear wheels - the rest is the same as any other pickup. Opening the doors and getting in/out while parked in a regular parking space is not the same in a MDT/HDT.Re: PULLING 20K OR BETTER 1jeep wrote: id rather not! Quite honestly im no weight police member but after towing 15k with a 250 and now the same trailer with a dually I will stick to what the manufacturer has rated for certain loads. The limiting factor for towing a FW is rear axle load. Almost everything else between the various pickup classes is identical (or can be configured identical) except the rear axle. The ASHS removes that from the equation and gives you better stability and control. Don't dismiss it out of hand until you've researched it well.Re: PULLING 20K OR BETTERCheck out the Automated Safety Hitch With the appropriate rear end gear, this lets you pull (and stop) 20k+ with a 250/2500 or non-dually 350/3500.Re: When is Water getting OLD/Stale TenOC wrote: By the way, water does not get "old". All the water in the world is millions of years old. There is no such thing as "new" water. Not true. Yes, most water is old, but new water is made all the time. Many forms of combustion create it - especially the hydrogen fuel cell.
