I had to replace a hose, and maybe another one this spring, due to crazing of the hose. It was actually oozing through the hose itself. Not a huge amount, but it makes a mess no matter what. Good suggestion!Re: Vanleigh kitchen and bathroom worktop circle stainIF the counter tops are "Solid Surface" (i.e. quartz, or Corian), the blemished area can be wet sanded to eliminate the blemish then polished to restore luster. All of which must be done carefully. Anything other than solid surface, leave it alone. Good luck!Re: Tonneau Coverson my 2nd Back Flip. Wouldn't have anything else.Re: TPMS: What's the latest?I have 14 tires on the ground. I have a dually, 5th wheel, and a cargo trailer in tow. I LOVE my TST 507 TPMS. My biggest issue so far was repositioning the caps after I had my tires rotated. Particularly on the inside dual tires.Re: Question about unit stabilization SUMRX4 wrote: We are headed out again next weekend. After the auto level sequence I will run each down a tad more and see it that helps. I looked at the strong arms but Didn't see any with hardware to mount to the round hydraulic jacks. Just the square electric jacks. Am I missing something? There should be holes in the round foot pad in which to mount the bracket to. If not, drill a hole. Had these on my other coach and they worked great. I will install them on our new RV this winter.Re: Anyone have to send fiver back to mfg for major repair? jffnkrn wrote: Back a few years ago, Sept of 2016, we had issues with some slide out seals / gaskets. Grand Design, scheduled the unit back to the factory for repairs. They paid for our gas to and from, paid for our lodging for four days and replaced all the slide out gaskets and went through and made sure everything was in spec. We didn't have any other issues with it while we had it until late 2019. That speaks very highly of Grand Design!Re: Hot Water Heater Funny Issue Old-Biscuit wrote: Water heater only heats COLD water initially...after heated it reheats Hot Water cause 110*F temp is considered HOT water Therefore it is perfectly acceptable to refer to it as a Hot Water Heater Otherwise....get over yourselves. Before I could get it out of the box I saw the Max Pin weight was only 3500 lbs. The pin weight of my 5th wheel is 4300 lbs. Had to go to a ReeseRe: Changing flat tires? 2oldman wrote: Get a TPMS. At least that way you'll likely know *before* a tire blows. Flat tires are a pretty rare occurrence if you change them when you're supposed to, keep them aired correctly and don't smash curbs. I just installed a TPMS on our 5er... Looking fwd to ops checking it next month when we head toward Idaho from Arizona.
