John Day, Oregon, north on OR hwy19
Hi, all. I will be traveling through John Day, Oregon, in a few weeks and have two options to get to Portland. One is hwy 26 through Prineville, Madras, etc., and the other is to take OR hwy 19 north and connect to I-84 near Arlington. I think the hwy19 route would be more scenic, but I have never driven it before. Is this highway trailer-friendly and a good route to take? I will be towing my 29’ trailer with a Ford F-150. I should mention, I am not good with heights, so if this route is very narrow, with sharp windy turns with sharp drop offs, I would love to know about that as well! TIA1.4KViews0likes3Comments
