It will not completely reach to my goose neck hole. ( not puck system) My bro in law purchased the larger hitch from HF and his is longer. I believe the 2,000 pounder. It extends out farther. I too am trying to figure out how to get it out of the hole..then slide to within reach of hoist to get it out of truck. No beams to attach winch. I didn’t know if a floor jack rigged up in some way could get it out of the hole and onto a dolly to get it to hoist. I want to leave hitch in a storage unit not on fifth wheel. Good luck! If you figure out something please post back here your solution.Re: Ever Replaced that Residential Refrigerator?Actually based on my fridge label it will go right out the door. Don’t believe the extended wareanty salesperson trying to scare you into buying the warranty. Ever Replaced that Residential Refrigerator? We have a 2018 3721 RL Montana with a Samsung Residential Fridge that is defective and is going to be replaced under warranty. Catch is of course..how do you get it out and the new one in? Dealer isn’t real sure either, but looks like they are planning on removing one of my large windows by my kitchen table and getting it out that way. Other option is to take off the slideout containing the fridge which doesn’t make me too comfortable. Has anyone on here been through this before?Re: School me on 5th wheel hitches pleaseI had a Pullrite Superglide based on rave reviews. Personally I didn’t like it for one reason. You have to hook up straight on or it won’t work. You cannot connect to your Fiver at an angle. I really didn’t like the hitch, but many others do. I switched to a B&W Companion and love it! I was in Kansas ( made in the USA) and stopped at the factory to buy it and have it installed. Only downside is when new they are a bear to get out of the hole! I had to have two young bucks pull it straight up to get it out of my truck. Love the hitch! B&W is the way to go...my two cents.Re: Newbie wants to remove B&W Slider from bed of truckI have a brand new B&W Slider and had the same problem. Turns out it is near impossible to remove it yourself. I had two young healthy lads try and they were able to pull it straight out. First time ever I was unable to lift a hitch by myself. We added some lithium grease and it slides out now fine. I also purchased an engine crane from Harbor Freight for around $200 bucks to lift it out of the bed. Chances are you just need more man power to lift it. New installs are snug.WARNING: Samsung Residential Refrigerator from Camping WorldThis may be old news but I recently purchased a 2018 3721RL Montana from Camping World. Short story...Samsung Fridge has already stopped working. Freezer works great..Fridge doesn’t cool down. Called Camping World and service informed me “we only sell Samsung Fridges, but we don’t fix them.” Probably a blessing in disguise keeping my Montana away from those fools. I have a call in to Samsung to attempt the next steps in getting a brand new Samsung Refrigerator to work properly. If you are buying a Montana from Camping World with a Samsung Residential Refrigerator make sure it works!Samsung Fridge Not Cooling? Freezer Works Fine..I have a new 2018 Montana 3721RL with a Samsung Residential Fridge. It is no longer cooling? The ice maker has never worked. The freezer works fine. I have been connected to shore power for the past 3 months. I have insured all buttons inside the fridge are correct. Here is what I’ve done thus far with no results.. Turned off breaker and then turned it back on: No results Unplugged inverter in basement and plugged back in : No Results Tried to power off with freezer/power freezer : Wouldn’t turn off The freezer is working fine which seems odd that it would work but fridge won’t. In any event I am 2 hours from CW and don’t want to take it back there for service due to reputation of not repairing things correctly. Service Dept has bad reputation. Thoughts? Also can a regular refrigeration repair guy get to it, even if I have to pay vs warranty? Thanks for any suggestions.DISH Winegard Trav’ler Satellite Questions? So I have been a Direct TV customer for many years. I am tired of new customers being treated better than loyal ones like myself. So I have decided to switch to DISH Winegard Trav’ler Fixed Roof Satellite on my new Fiver. I have several questions for you guys that have a Winegard Satellite. Not interested in tailgater etc. I am very familiar with issues regarding trees etc...I would like advice on the following questions. 1. Are you happy with DISH service using a Winegard? 2. I noticed Camping World has it on sale for $1,200 compared to DISH AT $1,600. Does DISH recognize you as a equal customer if you get your equipment from someone other than DISH? 3. Will DISH install on an RV or is it easy to do it yourself? Thanks in advance!Re: MorRyde Cargo Tray Size for Montana?Decided to make the trip down and re-measure. For anyone else with a 2018 3721RL the tray I decided on was 26” x 90”. It looks like a good fit with some extra space. I probably could have pushed it another inch or two, but after having to return the first one that weigh a thousand pounds, I decided to play it safe.MorRyde Cargo Tray Size for Montana?I have a 2018 3721RL Montana. Unfortunately it is located a couple of hours away at the moment. I was assuming all Montanas are the same width, and was wondering if anyone knows what size Morryde Cargo Tray will fit...specifically the length? I remember due to sewer pipes the size has to be only 26” wide on the tray. Does anyone know if 90” on the length is too long? Or if you know the basement length measurement I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
