I will say if you are going to dry camp much, the 175 amp hours per day it uses will require a larger battery bank.Re: KZ Connect C231RBKSE Refrigerator Quit WorkingSee if you have a GCFI outlet tripped.Re: Places to fill with fresh water and clever ways to fill ..I don't own one but here is a thought for you, https://www.amazon.com/WaterBasics-Emergency-Storage-Filter-RED-II-120/dp/B00P8EBDB8/ref=sr_1_18?crid=2WQGGHLD3P991&dchild=1&keywords=emergency+water+bladder&qid=1622717624&sprefix=emergency+water+bladder%2Caps%2C167&sr=8-18Re: Where to put generator in 21' travel trailer aguablanco wrote: I just installed the Mount n Lock arms and Safety Struts on my rear bumper and, so far, I couldn't be happier. I would post a couple of pics if I could. Look this product up and I think your problem will be solved. If you read the reviews on a website with the same name as a South American river you will see my pics of my Champion generator and 2 five gallon cans. RichH I did this on a 30 ft fifth wheel. Hauled my 158 lb generator about 10000 miles with no issues.Re: 60a DC-to-DC Charger Powered by 220a AlternatorI've been researching this myself. I have been looking at Redarc DC to DC chargers. You have given me some good ideas to alleviate my issue.Re: Battery Charging TroubleshootingChecked with my hydrometer and reading 1.225 so the 90% sounds about right. I have the converter in boost mode now with charging rate of .335 amps. The percentage charged is going up slowly. Can anyone recommend a stand alone charger which would equalize charge the T105's?Re: Battery Charging Troubleshooting time2roll wrote: How many amps are going to the battery when the converter is at 14.4 volts? When I 14.7 from solar today, amp to battery was .5. Battery was showing 90.1 %.Battery Charging TroubleshootingHere’s my equipment: Battery Monitor with shunt. ( not a Victron or Trimetric but seems to be accurate) Trojan T-105’s x 2 ( one month old, water level is good) Progressive Dynamics 55 amp converter with charge wizard( I replaced a WFCO) 200 watts portable solar. 6 AWG cables from converter to battery via battery disconnect switch. Looks like about a 5-6 ft run. I have a new Fifth Wheel. It appears that my batteries are not charging above 90% using the converter. Seems the charging amperage is minuscule above about 87% or so. On the converter a whole day goes up like .4 %. Today my monitor basically showed no charge from converter (less than 1 amo) I hooked up solar today and was getting about .5 Amps charging but was charging. I did not have a battery monitor on my previous fifth wheel but the voltage and behavior of the charge wizard indicated I was charging to 100% after a couple days. Is it possible something like the battery cutoff is retarding charging from the converter?
