But like I said idk if it works like the Chevy sway control, with ford if tow mode is on it keeps track of the trailers location.Re: Standing showers in bunkhouse models. pigeons101 wrote: shfd739 wrote: We just bought a Shadow Cruiser 240 BHS. It does have the standup shower but the shower pan will hold about 6inches of water and has a drain plug. This was perfect for bathing our nearly 2 year old a few times over the Labor Day weekend. At first we wanted a tub/shower bath but after looking at a few and standing in them we didnt like them at all. They felt too small with not enough room for us. Our 2 year old slept on the lower bunk in his popup sleep tent that zips closed-worked perfect. The 6 month old slept in her normal rock in play just in the bedroom door space. Worked well and is safe for both of them. A plug for a shower pan, that could work. I will take a look at the shadow cruiser, I know I have a dealer not far from here that has them. Thanks! Yeah the cubes are awesome bc you can throw them out and have more floor space lol. The Salem I'm looking at has two slides in the bunk room, and still has a full outside kitchen, complete with sink and not one of those useless sinks with no drain, this sink has a drain, idk how they did it being I'm in construction I do want to know.Re: Standing showers in bunkhouse models. shfd739 wrote: We just bought a Shadow Cruiser 240 BHS. We looked and thought about the many wonderful floor plans you guys shared, but can't really put a baby on a bed and walk away, point of the big bunk room is for the use of a crib. Obviously thought about just bringing a small tub, but then that's just another thing to deal with when we could just pick one with a tub.Re: Standing showers in bunkhouse models. wowens79 wrote: We've got a Heritage Glen 29BH, it has the small tub. It would be perfect for toddlers. The tub is kinda useless to me, and I'd rather have a shower, but it wasn't a big deal either way. We had a popup when the kids were little, so we had to take them to the bathhouse. The small tub would have been really nice. Yeah the tub is not for me lol I'm only 5'7, the tub is useless for anything other then small children. Btw you have a nice camper.Re: Standing showers in bunkhouse models. am1958 wrote: The Bullet Premiere 31BHPR has a nice big bunkhouse and a tub/shower just for rinsing rug rats... ;-) That's basically the floor plan we have picked, only difference is the bunk room has 2 slides.Standing showers in bunkhouse models. Why do most bunkhouse models have standing showers? we are looking for a bunkhouse TT bc we have a small child (just turned 1) and talking about having a second, and the advantage to a bunkhouse is obvious gives us room for a pack n play or even a crib. Anyway back on topic a standing shower with small children who still takes baths isn't very useful, and it seems like most bunkhouse models have standing showers so it only leaves us a few to really choose from, that have bathtubs. I'm not really asking, I guess more of a small complaint or just an observation. We are looking at a Salem/wildwood (same thing) 31KQBTS or 31QBTS any input on these would also be great. ThanksRe: Hideout? colliehauler wrote: Bigmoss wrote: I looked at the hideout. Nice unit cosmetic wise but I did not find the quality was there. I decided to wait save up and get a Jayco instead. Both owned by Thor. With Thor buying jayco just a few days ago, I don't see where that changes anything.Re: Hideout? Bigmoss wrote: I looked at the hideout. Honestly what the jayco cost I wasn't impressed with the quality, the twist I saw on a frame is when I stopped looking. From what I understand the customer service is some of the best.Re: Hideout? mtofell1 wrote: I have a Hemi w/6.5 bed and got a slider but can't imagine ever needing it. They market the trailer as such with a very small cap in front of the king pin. It's funny.... I don't mind the extra expense of the slider nearly as much as the added weight. I think my hitch is almost 300#. It really eats into the payload of the truck a lot for just a hitch. It's the age old thing though - it sucks to need a slider and not have it. I also have a bit of an odd situation as my RV slip slopes down pretty sharp from the street. I slide mine back each time I park so the angle of the trailer doesn't cause the underside of the bedroom to clip the back corners of my truck bed. By sliding back I change the angle. This truck/5th combo would probably be okay but my old setup with different truck and 5th would hit since I had less bed rail clearance. All good points. I was looking at the curt q16 and for $350 more I can have the slider, it does add 150 pounds to the hitch but still keeps me well under my weights. I might be taking a 8 hour drive to Ohio, found a 2017 for $26k.
