Sure is a nice looking Fiver that's for sure. Good Luck, Happy Camping and Happy HolidaysRe: Arctic Fox 27-5L RVA Jeff wrote: Thanks for the input guys....I feel a lot better about this now. Plus I found a dealer in PA (which is not even on their website) who happens to have a 2018 27-5L, so I think I'm going to drive up there over the weekend to see it. Also, I've been looking at other campers in that price range that are that size, and they don't compare, even on paper. For one thing, I haven't found a single 30 foot fifth wheel with dual pane windows....even as an option. Problem is, all the higher end models for companies like Keystone, Heartland, etc. are 35+ feet Jeff, What dealer in PA sells AF, I'll be in market next year and their on my short list but I figured I'd have to look elsewhere since there's no dealers around.Re: Tiffen Fifth wheel VilanoWhat model did you get? Do they use lippert frames or someone elses, I thought they quite using lippert. They are on my short list of FW's, along with Arctic Fox(no dealers near me)Grand Design solitude. Enjoy it, they look beautiful.Re: 2017 F350 diesel srw owners?I was totally wrong in looking at these pictures. I thought since I was looking at FW that were in the 12k dry weight with a 15k loaded the only option I had was a 350, 3500 etc DW diesel. I really didn't want the DW if I could avoid it, but I wanted to have more vehicle that needed to be safe. I'm learning quite a bit today. ThanksRe: 5th wheel vs. MH adviceYou're in the same position DW and I are in. I was all set for a MH, then started looking at the 5th wheels and now I'm not sure what to get. We won't be full timing, but we will be spending a month or two in the same area escaping the winters, or at least that's the plan. Both offer big benefits over the other and they both have their negatives. I've never driven either so I don't know if ones easier than the other to drive. I've read a lot about chucking issues that are pretty standard with fivers, but it looks like you can take care of most of that with the proper setup. On the MH front everyone says DP, but my price range is gas units. Good thing I have till next year to decide what we're going to do. Although it looks like the research that's available here and is invaluable will take most of that time. Happy Camping All!Re: Artic Fox 29.5T 2018Like you I've seen and heard nothing but good things about Arctic Fox units. Also like you dealers are in short supply although there are some within an extended driving range to order from. Being that there is not inventory in stock, I would bet the discount off of MSRP won't be near as much as say a Grand Design, or other manufacturers. Does anybody have any experience with purchasing these units?Re: Thinking about 5th trade in for class AHobo, I know this is off topic, why the switch from fifth wheel to A? DW and I are trying to decide between the two. We keep bouncing back and forth as both have advantages and disadvantages. Just trying to get peoples opinions who have lived it. ThanksRe: Who's Towing a 2016 Ford Escapeas far as I know it cannot be towed 4 down like some others. You may be able to do it if you disconnect things that I don't know.Re: Joining the ranksRandy, if you don't mind me asking, what was it about setting up fifth wheel that became too much. Your tag show's a newer model so I'm assuming it had the auto level system. I'm curious, DW and I are a little less than a year away from pulling trigger on Class A or fifth wheel to spend the winters chasing the warm weather and stick on a campsite for the summer for the family to use. From what I've read, both setups are very similar if they both have the auto leveling systems. Thanks for your reply.Re: New 2018 Miramar 35.3Looks beautiful, congrats and happy travels. Enjoy!
