There is a state park in the canyon right along the river. Beautiful place to camp.Re: Federal Mask mandate Walaby wrote: Note that it says SHOULD wear masks, doesn't say MUST wear masks. What is quoted above does not read like a mandate. Reads like a suggestion. Mike Mask are "required" on federal property.Re: 1/2 or 3/4 Ton? - Trying to decide. You can never have too much truck.Re: Just joined the DRW ClubYou will love that dually when the wind is blowing.Re: If you're going to Alaska, just PLAN and go!Don't worry about fuel prices, just go. It will be the trip of your lifetime. I enjoyed the trip up and back as much as the time in Alaska. Also, don't worry about campground reservations. There are numerous pull outs along the way once you get into Canada. I suggest getting a small generator, a quit one, red or blue. This will give you power at night and for breakfast. Even in Alaska there are pull outs and forest service campground that are cheap. I never had any problem find dump stations or fresh water. Most towns along the route will have that. I suggest you get Church's Book. I found it much more useful than the Mile Post. It told where to dump and get water as well as all the pull outs along the road. Take your time and enjoy the scenery and wildlife you will see along the road. Also watch the yellow line along the right side of the pavement. You can see the frost heaves much cleared. Slow way down when you see them because you will bounce. Enjoy your trip.Re: Lower Missouri/Arkansas tripBass Pro in Springfield,MO is the number one attraction in Missouri. They have just opened a new museum called "Wonders of Wildlife" and a new aquarium. This is much raved about worth the trip. I also second the comment about Blanchard caverns near Mountain View AR. There is a Ozark Fold Center state park in Mountain View also well worth the time. If you enjoy folk music, you must visit downtown Mountain View. There will be musicians all around the square in small groups jamming. There is also a pickin' park just off the square where they jam. This is an amazing town. I like the Ozark RV park because it is next to the state park and you can walk to it.Re: "Tuner" for a V-10You have to use premium fuel.Re: Westwind RV resort YumaI would not commit to a long term stay until I tasted the water. It is very hard in that area.Re: Los Algadonesthat is my favorite place to cross.Re: Ex. LP tank of 40 galsI assume you mean 40 pound tank. Have yu tried lifting a 40 pound tank full of propane. Thirty pounders are all i want to horse around.
