Walmart is in the surrounding area next to the mall. Plenty of restaurants in the area as well. There has in the past been some trouble in that area, so just be on the lookout.Re: OK, I'm a dummy.........You are not by yourself. We sold our Class A diesel and bought a house in Fl. We had Rv'd and camped for over 20 years and thought we were done. The thought of staying in a hotel to and from our other house in Va. was not appealing and we wanted to stop at Myrtle beach and other places along the way. We bought a hybrid trailer and hope to continue the camping experience. We will use it the first time in July. Enjoy your travels.Re: Overnight stayMaybe after we have used this we won't be concerned about hooking and unhooking from the tow vehicle. We do have the weight distribution system. As I said we have RV'd and camped for a long time but this is our first travel trailer, so all of this is new to us. We have not used this unit yet and won't until July. Just trying to get some info from experienced people. I didn't know if it would hurt anything to put out the bunk with the tow vehicle still hooked up. We do like to leave in the early morning hours so this would help in not disturbing other people. Again, thanks for the helpful commentsRe: Overnight stayThanks to everyone for their helpful information. I'm sure we will get the hang of backing and what will work for us on the overnight stays.Overnight stayWe have Rv'd and camped for many years, but this is the first Hybrid trailer we have had. FOr an overnight stay can you put the bunk out with the tow vehicle still attached? We measured and it looks like it would just be enough room between the trailer and the tow vechicle. We are towing this with a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Also, how long did it take to learn how to back this up. At this point, I think we can only go forward and use all pull thrus. ANy tidbits of info will be appreciated. ThanksRe: Jacks will not go up or downWe have a 2011 Tiffin Allegro Red and had the same problem. Be very careful because our motor home rolled so slowly we didn't know it was moving until my car stopped it. Over $5000 damage between the MH and the car. We took our MH to Freightliner in Gaffney, Sc because over the phone they said it was a chasis problem. After we got there, they said it wasn't a chassis problem. They did check some items and bled the brakelines but said they couldn't find the problem. Somehow I think they fixed the problem without trying. When we pull the yellow knob since that visit, it has worked properly every time so our slides and jacks will work. We are now in Red Bay, AL with over a 100 other units waiting on service. Good luck in your repairs.Re: HWH jacks and slidesWe had this problem and it is still on going. After trial and error, if the Parking brake is not fully engaged the jacks or the slides won't work. It felt like the brake was fully engaged. If the lights aren't on the HWH panel then this could be your problem. Good luckRe: KwiKee Electric StepsWe had the same problem and a magnet did help us. We took a kitchen magnet and held it down next to the magnet next to the door and the steps would come back in. When we had it serviced they did replace the motor and the ground wire. Good luckRe: Carrying a dog outside the RV interior? You should have someone else drive your motorhome and then you get in whatever you will put your dog in, go down the road for several hours and see how it feels to you. You shouldn't have a pet if you can't treat it properly. Give the dog a bath and brush it regularly and you shouldn't have a problem.Re: Bears in Topsail Hill State Park FloridaWe were in Topsail the 2nd week of Sept and a bear just casually walked through the campground. We were walking our dog when we saw it. My wife was really freaked out.
