I guess finding out if there is a stud somewhere along the wall might be my first step. Then cut out the bad piece but I have no idea how to replace it with something that looks ok.Wall Repairswe have a 29 ft. Crossroads Zinger with rear kitchen. Rear wall has had water damage. The leak has been repaired. The damage is about 1 foot wide and runs from ceiling to counter. There is an upper cabinet attached to that wall and the water damage goes through back of cabinet and down to counter. Wall ends below counter because water pump, etc. are in that corner below counter. Is there an easy way to replace this wall or will I have to take cabinet and counter off?Re: 2006 Crossroads Zinger electrical problemYes the GFCI kept tripping so we replaced it but the new one does the same. We replaced it with a regular receptacle to see what would happen and it works but the other 2 still do not work.2006 Crossroads Zinger electrical problemHave 31ft.rear kitchen model and the outside receptacle and the one receptacle in rear of kitchen are not working. Does anyone have access to an electrical schematic for this model.Re: Sofabed questionThanks for all your suggestions. I guess we will go with a new foam mattress cut to size and get it covered. Will still have to use plywood under it as the base of the bed is really bad and no matter what I put on it, the bars stick into your back and between the bars sags about 3 or 4 ". Oh well maybe our guests won't stay long this way.Sofabed questionNew here so not sure where to post this. We just purchased a 2006 Zinger 29RK 5th wheel. We've discovered that the sofa bed is VERY uncomfortable. We want to take some family with us when we camp so really need a bit of comfort. Having trouble trying to figure out what to do with it. Can't seem to find a new sofa to fit the space which is 66" long and 38" deep. Or we go with a new foam mattress and plywood under it for support. The sofa itself is in good shape and matches the décor so I hesitate to change it but it is hard to find a foam mattress that is 48" x 66". Has anyone dealt with this problem and /or can you suggest a solution. I was actually looking at 2 flip flop chairs side by side which would fit exactly into the space and would fold out to 70" which would give us 4 more inches in length. However these are in the US and would cost a fortune to have them shipped to Ontario.Re: new couchI was hoping to find something a little cheaper than La-Z-Boy but I will keep looking. Thanks for the warning about getting it through the door. I hadn't thought of that.new couchDoes anyone know where I would start looking for a replacement for the couch in our 5th wheel? It's only 62" wide and the hide-a-bed feature is the most unsleepable bed I have ever seen. If I can't find a decent replacement, I may just have to take the mattress out and lay it on the floor for the grandkids when they visit.Re: Any preferances ??Thanks everyone for your concern and your good advice. Hopefully this works out. Just realized there is a crossroads forum so I will check that out as well.Re: Any preferances ??Thanks we will check the date on the tires for sure. You guys are all making me very nervous. Does this trailer (Zinger) have a bad reputation or are you just concerned about the dealer? This dealership has been in business for over 30 years in same location and has won many awards for service etc. They are in our neighbourhood and I know someone who works there so I am fairly comfortable dealing with them. We will definately keep our eyes open and inspect thouroughly ourselves before committing.
