My question is what is the easiest way to check if the inverter is working? The rest of the receptacles throughout the coach work fine. I have located two GFI breakers (bathroom and kitchen). Could I be missing one?Re: Mystery SwitchThank you all for your help. The owner brought over the owner manuals and the mystery has been solved. It is an inverter switch (Thanks Don).Re: Mystery SwitchThank you! It is a 2003 Dolphin. Electric water heater switch is in the bathroom area.Mystery SwitchI know this may seem like a simple question, but I am totally stumped. We recently upgraded from a 5th wheel to a 50amp motorhome. We bought the motorhome from an individual. Unfortunately, the gentlemen has cancer as was not able to do a total walk through with us. As you walk into the coach, you will find the entry switch panel (battery indicator, ceiling lightning, compartment lights, step, battery connect and porch light. Right below it is a switch that lights up when you turn it on. Looking through all the manuals, I can not find it. Any ideas what this switch if for? I don't want to keep bothering the former owner. He was quite sad to have to give up the RV life. Second question. We plugged in the coach to home power. Yesterday, while running the generator, we checked out the TV. Today while plugged into home power we could not get TV to come on. Any suggestions? A sure appreciate your help and patience as we begin this part of our RV adventure.Re: 50 Amp plugged into HomeThank you all so much for the help. I have always appreciated this site for my rv questions.50 Amp plugged into HomeWe just recently updated our 30amp 5th wheel to a 50 amp motorhome. We had an adapter on the 30 amp that allowed us to plug in the camper to a standard home receptacle. This allowed us to run a vacuum to clean our camper before we shut it down for the winter. The new camper has an adapter 50amp to 30amp with an adapter to plug into standard home outlet. Living in a small town, it takes several weeks to get a electrician to your home (we plan on putting in a correct outlet). In the mean time, can I use the adapters to do basic things like running a vacuum without causing any damage to the electrical system?Re: Branson TripWe try to make an annual trip to Branson. We have always stayed at Musicland campground. It is located right behind the Titantic. It allows us to walk along the strip. We have stayed their with out class C, our 5th wheel and will make a trip this year with the class A.
