Stabilizing 5er for long term
We have picked up a camp site in the Sierras for long term. What are some of the options for stabilizing the unit? Slide jacks? Frame jacks? blocking the axels by lifting tires off the ground? The falls are beautiful in what ever activities you choose. We were there for a week. The night time there is just beautiful, light show, fireworks, have dinner on either sided, or just bring your own. Go out on the hurricane deck on a windy day you will never forget it. They almost closed it when we went down to the bottom of the falls? Outside of the falls they have a great city park, it is big. Take a ride on some of the country roads outside of town. We stopped at very small farm stands that were selling there gardens best. We stocked up on there corn, squash, onions, and a couple of different types of lettuce. Any ideas out there for how to reinforce the box that the valves set in? Foe some reason the backing on the box keeps breaking. I know the box is not strong at all. Old-Biscuit and b_pilot you guys hit the nail on the head. Dropped belly pan and out drops broken bolt. Mine is not easy to get to. The worst thing I tried is pushing it in by hand. Bad move now out of alignment. At least I found the problem. I did make call to NuWa and the advice was to psuh the slide in. My hydrolic ram on left side is working, but the gear side will not engage. I have been underneath and the floor has not collapsed on the gear side. Fall colors. Leaving the 12 th of Oct. Would like to start in the North and travel southwest and end up in Tenn. One big concern now is we are running into campground closures and we do not know what kind of road conditions we will run into.
