RT 15 south to Frederick Md. RT 270 south into the Washington Beltway. We picked up 95 just south of Washington. Nice easy driving right up until RT 95 (parking lot). This was a nice route to avoid NYC, Philly, and Baltimore. Used to same route going back home with a 2 day stay over in Gettysburg .Re: Generator that won't break the bank..We use a "Campground Friendly" Boliy 3600 inverter generator. This unit is about $1400 and can power everything in the TT. Just can't run AC and microwave at same time. Very quiet unit! Unit has been virtually problem free for the last 6 years.Re: Outdoor table w/sinkhttp://www.homedepot.com/p/MUSTEE-Utilatub-Combo-24-in-x-18-in-Polypropylene-Floor-Mounted-Laundry-Tub-in-White-21CP/203579727 Connected to the hot and cold low point drains. Created a drain using a pvc ball valve and a few reducers. It now drains into a garden hose and that drains into the site sewer dump. The best part is that all hoses and cords are stored in the sink during travel. Nice and compact...Re: RV Accident US 131 in Michigan mileshuff wrote: A good guess would be that this trailer is a 2010 Keystone Outback. Looks like one of the longer ones. Weight maybe ok as the larger 260FL weighs about 6500lbs dry but thats without options or cargo. My issue would be the length if towing on a windy day or with passing semi's. The TT has the same roof config of my Outback 301 BQ. TT is 33'+ and 8800lbs max wt. I wouldn't consider towing it with anything less than a 2500. I like the added safety margin of a larger truck because as road conditions change, you never know what is around the next corner. I suppose a properly adjusted Nissan could tow a larger unit like this. It just seems they would be right at the limits of there TV capabilities.Re: MA title travel trailer naturist wrote: Are you sure it's not "hot?" Maybe that's what happens to all the stolen trailers taken all over the US: they end up sold sans title in Mass. Or it was purchased (never registered) and placed on a seasonal lot. Upon you trying to register this TT, MA will want sales tax on the original purchase price. I would demand that the current owner find the title or go and have the unit titled within their own state prior to you purchasing it. Let it be their headache....Re: Blank Tank Ripper Comes To Elkmont nomad297 wrote: Just imagine what her home looks like inside. If you are concerned about doing that , then I would suggest freezing a gallon of spring water prior to your trip. Put the frozen bottle in your fridge and you won't have any problems along the way...Re: Help selecting a bunkhouseWould you be interested in a 2010 Outback 301??Re: Boston InformationThis should help you out: http://www.minutemanbikeway.orgRe: NJ through New England - Campground Ideas NeededIf you are going to Acadia then I would suggest Smugglers Den in Southwest Harbor. Be sure to stop at Rats for your local seafood. I know it doesn't sound like much, but you will be pleasantly surprised. When in the N Conway NH area, I would suggest Glen Ellis CG in Glen NH. It is on the other end of the N Conway strip and closer to Mt Washington. You can tube the Saco river right from the campground. The river runs right by it. I have not been impressed with VT CG's. Still haven't found any I really like. You would have better luck in W Massachusetts (Berkshires area). Pine Acres (Oakham, MA) is directly north of rt 84 (Sturbridge, MA) and is a very nice CG.
